Medical Day for the People of Gaza in Cairo

Organized by the European Campaign for Gaza

The European Campaign for Gaza organized a free medical day for the people of the Strip in Cairo, in light of the difficult circumstances they face due to the ongoing aggression and the deteriorating humanitarian conditions.

The medical day, which was held in a specialized clinic, witnessed a large turnout of patients, where examinations were conducted that included heart and blood pressure specialties, in addition to providing medical consultations and dispensing free medicines to patients in need.

The patients expressed their gratitude for this initiative, as many of them confirmed the difficulty of accessing medical care due to the high costs and harsh refugee conditions. The participating doctors and volunteers also indicated that many patients suffer from chronic diseases, a shortage of medicines, and complex health conditions that require continuous follow-up.

For his part, the representative of the European Campaign for Gaza, Mr. Yassin Al-Abadlah, confirmed that this event comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to support displaced Palestinians, stressing the importance of providing health care to them at this critical stage. He also called on humanitarian and international organizations to intensify medical and relief support to ensure that basic services reach those affected.

The medical day concluded with the distribution of more medicines and medical supplies, with the organizing bodies confirming their continued efforts to support the people of Gaza in Cairo and extend a helping hand to them in light of the current circumstances.
