Nevin Abu Al-Jidyan: My son started vomiting and had a high temperature, so I took him to Dar Al-Aqsa Hospital for treatment. I didn’t think it was anything serious. My son was sleeping – he wouldn’t wake up, feed or move. He stayed like that for two weeks until they suspected he had a serious illness. They sent a sample to Jordan, and two weeks later they told me he had polio. It was a huge shock to me and my other children as well.
